    OSC ATU 53-4 Service Core C RM 1954 Steam visible at supply registers

    The steam supply serving ATU 53-4 has been valved off  in M.E.R. 32.  OSC staff are seeing steam at the supply registers under certain conditions.  JCI will adjust programming next Tuesday morning prior to cases starting.  Access to the supply (ball valve) shut off requires a tall ladder, currently placed underneath valve…  Will restore once new limit set points are established.

    Cancer Care Including Basement MER

    • Manually pump down Storm Sump1, Storm Sump 2, and Sanitary Pump 3 just prior to 10 PM Friday (Steve Lamb)
    • Manually pump down the condensate return unit just prior to 10 PM Friday (Steve Lamb)
    • Place RIB relays to “closed” in first floor electrical closet O.C. 137 prior to 10 PM Friday (Steve Lamb); P. Dobry will restore to normal on Monday

    MER #10

    • Open access door on AC-27-10 on fan discharge to allow relief path for closed smoke dampers just prior to 10 PM Friday (Steve Lamb)
    • Open access door on AC-28-10 on fan discharge to allow relief path for closed smoke dampers just prior to 10 PM Friday (Steve Lamb)
    • Close discharge access doors and manually re-start AC-27-10 and AC-28-10 after power is restored Saturday and verify they are operating correctly (Cori Williams)

    MER #10A

    • Confirm that AHU-1 (on Metasys) is operating correctly after power is restored Saturday (Cori Williams)
    • Confirm domestic water temperatures for Linear Accelerator Cooling System (on Metasys) are normal after power is restored (Cori Williams); linear accelerator cooling water will be switched to domestic water Friday and restored to chiller on Monday by P. Dobry

    • Manually pump down the sump pumps just prior to 10 PM Friday (Steve Lamb)
    • Manually pump down the condensate return unit just prior to 10 PM Friday (Steve Lamb)

    General Notes

    • Shutdown duration is Friday (5/30) from 10 PM till Saturday (5/31) 6 AM (or sooner)
    • Wiltec (electrical contractor) contact for shutdown is Brian Wheeler at 734-395-9217 mobile; Brian to call Energy Center (734-712-3375) just prior to turning power off and just after restoring power
    • All JCI panels in MER #10 will lose power for duration of shutdown
    • All JCI panels in MER #10A will lose power for duration of shutdown
    • All loads on MCC-10DE in MER#10 will be off the duration of the shutdown; this means all emergency power for MER#10
    • All loads on MCC 14 DE in MER#14 will be off the duration of the shutdown; this means all emergency power for MER#10A
    • All loads on DP-XHAE in Cancer Care Basement MER will be off the duration of the shutdown; this means all emergency power in Cancer Care
    • Cancer Care fire alarm panel will lose power causing a trouble at operators’ workstation (John Keefer let telephone operators know of pending trouble on 5/29/14); if issues persist after power is restored Building Tech (Mike Dakin) to take first look and engage Electrician on call if necessary
    • Cancer Care JCI panel (UN04A033 1FLRCC-LTG) serving first floor Cancer Care canopy, corridors, lobby, and link to hospital will be off the duration of the shutdown
